- Update 10.16.08Posted on: 2008-10-16Hilltown's admistrative office was contacted today and we were told that as of today no applications from a representative of the Archdiocese has been submitted.
In response to a question from a reader, the construction is supposed to be complete in enough time for the school to be open in September 2012.
I have received a couple of phone calls today from Hilltown residents. We discussed our concerns about added traffic on Route 152 and on Rickert Road.
One resident voiced his concern about a decline in property value for those that live near the school. This may or may not be a valid concern (it depends on many factors), but it definitely could take longer to sell a home that is close to any school, especially a high school, and particularly a campus of this size.
If you would like to voice your opinion but have difficulty in typing, I would be happy to convert any comments from a phone call recieved into written word posted on this journal. Call me anytime at 267.246.9505.
Also, if you are posting a comment on this website, please pick an expiration date of 12/30/09 so that this journal will remain complete for quite a whiile. Thank you.

- Update July 15, 2009Posted on: 2009-07-20As reported in the Intelligencer on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, the construction of Lansdale Catholic Regional High School in Hilltown has been indefinitely delayed.
In this article, spokesperson Donna Farrell has detailed that funding of the project has not gone as planned but that the high school still will be built. No definite ground-breaking date has been set.
The Lansdale Catholic Regional High School website does not have any of these details noted, but the expected date of completion has been removed from the website.

- UPDATE - Current Plans for Lansdale Catholic HS ConstructionPosted on: 2008-09-24Construction of the Lansdale Catholic Regional High School in Hilltown is planned for the corner of Route 152 and Rickert Road and is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2010, with the school opening to students in September 2012. Recent contact with Hilltown Township reveals that the representatives for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia have not made any additional arrangements to meet with the planning commission concerning this construction.
- NO HS IN OUR BACKYARDPosted on: 2008-10-15I sincerly hope that the HS is not put in our beautiful farmlands. There simply isn't enough room in this tight little community for a monster school such as LDC!
